The Goal
Drive brand awareness and reach target audiences on the platform.
The Solution
Created a series of playful social ads that feature the product and let it tells the story and bring the brand’s messages to life.
The Result
Initially scoped for a single social post, the project exceeded client expectations—our video and design work resonated so strongly that they ultimately chose to leverage the full suite of creative assets we delivered.
Although the project was completed successfully, it ultimately was not published on social media due to platform regulations. As a result, the final video could not be distributed as initially planned.
The Risk
Pushing creative boundaries for brand’s social media content, aiming to exceed expectations and deliver more than what was initially scoped—a full suite of video and design assets.
The Mistake
The team focused on the creative direction and production without fully considering the advertising restrictions on CBD products across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
The Failure
Although the project was successfully completed and well-received by the client, the final video couldn’t be published as planned due to platform regulations. This limited the impact and reach of the work.
The Lesson
I learned that a successful project isn’t just about strong design and animation—it’s also about understanding the distribution environment and any compliance issues involved. Since then, I always ask about compliance and distribution requirements upfront to ensure the creative direction aligns with both the vision and the constraints.
