Solar Terms
I created an animation to visualize six of the twenty-four divisions of the Solar Term. The solar term is the traditional East Asian lunisolar calendar. It synthesizes and reflects the characteristics of solar and lunar movements defined as changes of season and climate. The specific titles of the seasons I chose are: Start of Spring, Rain Water, Grain Rain, Start of Summer, Summer Solstice and Major Heat. I wanted to share the feeling of these climatic conditions and suggest the meaning behind their stories.
